40th Anniversary Grooming Competition

Recently the Gold Clipper Pet Salon competeted in Chicago with Joanna Moyer as the stylist in the ALL AMERICAN GROOMING CONTESTS' 40th anniversary grooming competition AUG 11th 2012,with stylists from all over the country.Winning third in her division out of 14 entries with her favorite standard poodle named BRUNO,Joanna plans for first place in the upcoming BACKER show in October.

After years of preparation on competing for the top she takes home an amazing ribbon and plaque and gift certificate and the satisfaction of knowing that hard work pays off.Joanna started at the GOLD CLIPPER PET SALON 5 1/2 yrs ago as a groomer after training at Paragon Grooming Academy and before, as a client with her parents of the GOLD CLIPPER since the age of 2.Thanks to Joanna's consistent hard work and to Bob and Carol Middlebrook,clients and owners of Bruno for letting her lavish thier pet in spa treaments and grooming that he so adores!

The Gold Clipper was established in 1985 by Kristen Satkoski in a storefront in New Carlisle. Her previous experience in professional grooming consists of:

1. Pet Parade," LaPorte, Indiana 1983
2. "Animal Garden," Niles, Michigan 1983-1984 (w/ Dr. Kryder)

Mrs. Satkoski has been grooming the family dogs since the age of nine. She has also attended the Chicago All American Grooming Contest yearly. Her continuing education allows her to be informed on the latest styling techniques, grooming supplies, and equipment.
